Jeddi Nemr
TRANSCREATION
Through our branding and transcreation project, “Jeddi Nemr”, we celebrate the essence of this Lebanese village-rooted olive oil. Inspired by the founder’s esteemed grandfather, Nemr, known for his traditional Lebanese hat and distinguished mustache, we embarked on a creative journey transcending cultural boundaries.
Transcreation
With a touch of cultural adaptation, we transformed the brand into “Papa Leon” for the English market, “Papi Léon” for the French market, and “Abue León” for the Spanish market. Each logo variation embraces cultural aesthetics (hats & mustaches) while honoring the brand’s heritage.
The details in the packaging evolved as well: we readapted the unit of measurement, using liters for French, Arabic, and Spanish versions, and fluid ounces for the North American release, through our knowledge of cultural nuances and market dynamics.
